Backup of Ramboll's VMware environment

Rambøll has for a number of years been a Consular customer on several different fronts, and when Rambøll started exploring the market for backup software for their VMware environment, it was natural to turn to Consular. In addition to the VMware environment, Rambøll also had a desire to utilize the functionalities that Veeam offered.

One of Denmark's largest Veeam solutions

Consular delivered Veeam® Backup & Replication for 240 sockets to the data center in Denmark, and the solution for one of Denmark's largest Veeam solutions. Veeam Backup & Replication protects Ramboll's VMware environment, but other types of workloads must also be used, and especially within the cloud, Veeam offers some unique options that can help improve Rambøll's RTPO.

Good synergies across

In addition to using Veeam for Rambøll's VMware environment, the solution also has derived synergy effects, as it provides accessibility to ALL Rambøll's cloud, virtual and physical workloads via a single management console. Veeam also has a close integration with Rambøll's current storage solution, which provides the option for quick backup and quick restore.
